Synology DS918+ được thiết kế dành cho các doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ hay gia đình công nghệ, những người đam mê công nghệ thông tin. Synology DS918+ được trang bị Quad-core 1.5GHz burst up to 2.3GHz| Dual 1GbE LAN ports, RAM 4GB DDR3L, scalable up to 8GB. Do được tích hợp mã hóa phần cứng AES-NI, DS918+ đạt tốc độ đọc/ghi khi mã hoá file lên đến 225 MB/s và 221 MB/s. DS918+ cũng có khả năng chuyển mã lên đồng thời hai kênh video H.265/H.264 4K cùng một lúc, DS918+ là lý tưởng cho việc chia sẻ và lưu trữ video có độ phân giải cao.

DS918+ cho phép người dùng bổ sung thêm 2SSD chuẩn M.2 NVMe 2280, để tạo bộ nhớ cache giúp hệ thống nhanh chóng đồng thời không chiếm vị trị các khay gắn HDD trên thiết bị. Ngoài ra, DS918+ còn có thể mở rộng thêm 5HDD với thiết bị mở rộng Synology DX517.

Máy chủ đa phương tiện 4K
